We go through the router together: the admin password, automatic firmware updates, remote administration, filtering DNS that protects everyone in the house at once, and a guest network for the gadgets you don't trust. Then we find out what is actually connected, and you write the list down. Can't get into your router because the landlord owns it, the building manages the network, or the password was set years ago by someone who moved out?
